"But for as much Biblical knowledge as I had, there were areas of my life that were not orderly, where confusion reigned.
I came away from the Conference with two truths that have completely transformed my faith in the past year:
- The most pivotal was seeing what was God’s responsibility and what was my responsibility in my Christian growth process. How freeing it has been to realize that all the Lord requires of me is to surrender my will to Him in my desire to be obedient. It is His job to transform my mind, heart and will to be like Christ Jesus. I’ve spent most of my Christian life striving to do that myself!
- The second principle is closely related. My transformation is a life-long process. Transformation is God’s purpose for my life. Anything that He does as a result of that transformation, the way my life affects others, is secondary. Affecting others for Christ is not the purpose for living, it is the result of being transformed into His image.
I’ve found joy and peace in the midst of the most unlikely circumstances. And I am learning to receive and embrace God’s unconditional love for me that I might learn to truly love others unconditionally. The Truths presented in the “There Is An Answer” Conference are still bearing daily fruit in my life. I thank God for this ministry!"
